Hi, i’m Joy.

I offer full experience photoshoots ranging from engagements, intimate weddings, couples, family, maternity and significant life events.

I am a Filipina-American immigrant and self-taught portrait and landscape photographer. I’m also a healthcare professional (shocker). Naturally loving the outdoors and nature, I started shooting landscape throughout local adventures around the city, and it grew to so much more. In 2014, I decided to upgrade my camera, turn off auto-settings and flash, and put more focus and intention into the images I capture. It grew into my first art show in 2017, and having my prints - framed - in many, many homes. I wanted to explore more.

So, I got into portrait photography. As I commit to the rediscovery of myself with all the self-healing and self-love work that I do, I’m committed to being a person who supports the authenticity of others, while encouraging growth and discovering more. I’m here to connect with a few and not with everyone - so I do not take on all photoshoot inquiries. I’m here to give you my time and care, because I care about what I do, as I capture your memories.

Joysauce Photography is my baby, and every photo we produce together is custom, intentional, and created just for you and your loved ones to cherish throughout your life. So, no. I’m not just another photographer, I’m not just another vendor at your wedding... I’m the human you wholeheartedly felt comfortable enough with to take me along your journey. Your story. I WANT TO GIVE YOU SOMETHING TO FEEL, TOMORROW, NEXT WEEK, 10 YEARS FROM NOW. FEELINGS THAT WILL BE FELT WITH ALL THOSE YOU SHARE YOUR LOVE WITH. CONNECTIONS. Best photo experience ever! Loved the whole experience we had with her and her assistant. Our family photos turned out beautiful! She kept us informed on the time and process of when pictures were ready, also gave us sneak peaks! Joy was very fun, friendly, and professional all at the same time. My daughter grew comfortable with her throughout the whole shoot Which made her more at ease and bubbly. Joy has an eye for beautiful, creative and unique shots, and I loved how she captures the natural light and setting. With that said, we enjoyed our session and how the photos turned out couldn’t ask for anything more. Looking forward to more incredible photo shoots with Joy! 💙
